The Role
As Retail Channel Strategist & Sales Leader, your mission is to build the retail growth engine—by leading the sales strategy, managing major accounts, and building a high-performance team that’s hungry and aligned.
You will:
- Lead the retail strategy across multiple sales channels, from grocery to convenience to food service
- Produce and coach. You’re not sitting in an office passing down expectations—you’re modeling how it’s done, then getting the most out of those around you
- Build a team of A-players—hiring, developing, and pushing them to hit performance metrics and grow professionally
- Serve as the point of contact for major accounts and brokers, owning relationships and executing flawlessly
- Collaborate across departments (logistics, marketing, procurement, finance) to align operations with opportunity
- Operate with urgency and ownership, treating revenue, relationships, and execution as your business
You’re a Fit If You:
- Are a leader who loves to sell—you thrive on driving results, but your real talent is getting the best out of others
- Have 10+ years of experience in retail, produce, food, or CPG sales—with results to back it up
- Have led regional or national accounts and managed brokers across the Western U.S.
- Are driven by KPIs, energized by building strategy, and skilled at breaking big goals into actionable plans
- Build trust and buy-in fast—internally and externally—and create team alignment without friction
- Know how to run a room, develop people, and get consistent performance without micromanaging
